The Casitas

Currently the mission features six “casitas”,  one which is in minimalist (nod to NM) style, with viga ceiling, simple bedroom and bath with corner fireplace. Each casita abuts the main courtyard wall, corresponding to the original plans of the missions’ granary, tannery, blacksmith shop, nunnery, etc.

There are a total of six casitas,  within the Mission compound. Each casita can sleep 2 and has running water, electricity, and a bathroom. The stars and sounds of South Texas are right outside your door. Please note that the casitas do not have televisions to protect the sanctity and historical significance of the Mission. However, off the Mission grounds is the bunk house which does have satellite TV and sleeps 4.
